Numerical simulation and field application of biological nano-technology in the low- and medium-permeability reservoirs of an offshore oilfield

Abstract As a result of deep burial depth, small pore throat, poor connectivity between pores, different clay mineral contents in reservoirs, and strong reservoir sensitivity, injection wells often have problems such as rapidly increasing water-injection pressure insufficient quantity the process development. The main measures used to solve difficulties water low-permeability reservoirs include fracturing, acidizing, surfactant depressurization increase, all which some disadvantages high cost environmental damage. In recent years, injection-increase environment-safe bio-nano-materials been introduced into achieved good application results China. On other hand, although there many researches on EOR (enhanced oil recovery) nano-materials, numerical simulation field nano-depressurization injection-augmenting technology is still blank that wettability mechanism nano-materials bio-nano-depressurization are almost completely opposite, influence adsorption formation opposite. nanoparticles studies will reduce porosity make more hydrophilic. Nanoparticles biological nano-technology produce hydrophobic film near well, seepage resistance through slip phase. this study, set flooding model for considering characteristics physical properties was established, sensitivity analysis key parameters carried out, effect prediction chart drawn, were verified by real oilfield data. far we know, first study has applied fields.
